Dune: Part 3 Has 3 Popcorn Buckets, Including One With 2 Sandworm Mouths

With Dune: Part 3 fast approaching, AMC Theatres has finally shown off the movie's popcorn buckets. Fittingly, there are three.

There’s one with two sandworm mouths, so you can share popcorn with other Dune-heads. Another features one mouth hole and a thumper that actually moves up and down while you munch your snacks.

The final popcorn-themed concession collectible is a bucket shaped like the mobile containment tank of the Guild Navigator, Edric, who we’ll likely get to know better in Dune: Part 3. The collectibles were officially revealed on the AMC Theatres Instagram page.

Dune: Part 3 is based on Frank Herbert's Dune Messiah, and takes place 17 years after the events of the first two films. Timothée Chalamet returns as Paul Atreides, who you know has probably gone too far this time because he’s shaved his head. Bald dudes mean business.

Meanwhile, Zendaya has an expanded role as Chaya and will reportedly campaign in the Best Actress category at the Oscars. Both previous Dune movies were nominated in technical excellence categories, but the actors didn’t get any nods.

Even if you think you know the book it’s based on, however, we might be in for some big surprises. The final trailer for Dune: Part 3 suggested some major deviations from the source material.

Dune: Part 2 surpassed the previous movie in the trilogy at the box office , generating almost $500 million. Dune: Part 1 grossed $433 million worldwide during its entire theatrical run. However, the first movie was released simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max, giving people the option of watching it at home with their own popcorn buckets.
