Dragon Ball Super: 6 Best Arcs For The Series' Return, Ranked

The Dragon Ball Super anime has been on hiatus since 2018, and though this hit every fan quite hard, most found solace in the fact that the manga was still ongoing. Across the arcs set after the Broly movie, the manga had some of the greatest moments that the franchise has ever seen, which made for some promising material for the anime's return.

However, fans were hit with devastating news in 2024, when the legendary creator of the franchise, Akira Toriyama, suddenly passed away. This was, understandably, followed by an indefinite hiatus for the manga as well. However, with the Dragon Ball Super anime set to return, fans believe that the manga will soon follow.

The Saiyans are the main characters of the Dragon Ball franchise, so let's go over the best moments of the main ones.

When Goku met the Grand Priest and Zeno, it was at Zeno's palace. On the way to where the Omni King resides, Goku made an interesting observation about the Grand Priest's deceptive strength, which Whis further corroborated by stating that the Grand Priest is the greatest of the Angels and one of the five strongest fighters in the multiverse.

The wording was what truly got fans thinking, as Whis singled out fighters rather than overall beings, which possibly eliminates Zeno from this ranking. Because of this, fans have been interested in seeing who the remaining four of these fighters are and just how beyond Goku and the others they may be in strength.
