Doctor Doom Returns Ahead of Avengers: Doomsday in New Marvel Release

Marvel Cosmic Invasion developer Tribute Games has revealed its upcoming Siege of Castle Doom DLC, which will focus on Doctor Doom just a few weeks before the character's big-screen appearance in Avengers: Doomsday. Released in 2025, Marvel Cosmic Invasion debuted with a playable cast of 15 heroes. Favorites like Spider-Man, Captain America, and Iron Man were included in the initial roster, alongside some deeper cuts such as Cosmic Ghost Rider and Phyla-Vell.

Earlier in 2026, Marvel Cosmic Invasion added Cyclops and the Thing in the game's first batch of DLC. Cyclops joined multiple other playable X-Men in the game, including Wolverine, Phoenix, and Storm. The Fantastic Four have seen far less representation in the game, with Benjamin J. Grimm being the first member of the team playable.

Sony messed up with Kraven, Morbius, and Madame Web, but the studio has some Spider-Man spin-offs that would make a lot more sense.

Debuting on November 10, Marvel Cosmic Invasion's Siege of Castle Doom DLC will add a new mode to the game. Castle Doomstadt is at the center of the DLC, and players will have to race through the Latverian landmark towards an encounter with Doctor Doom himself. The castle will feature a mix of new and returning enemy types, as well as new modifiers. The DLC will cost $7.99, and it will also unlock Doctor Doom and Invisible Woman in Marvel Cosmic Invasion.

Following the additions of the Invisible Woman and the Thing, just two members of the Fantastic Four remain missing from Marvel Cosmic Invasion : Mr.
