Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Is Officially Revisiting One of Its Biggest Loose Ends

Michael C. Hall is set to return in Dexter: Resurrection's sophomore season, with the first episode airing on Paramount+ with Showtime on October 30. The first season introduced dangerous enemies, a new setting, and plenty of unfinished business, and though the show's first installment tied up many storylines, it left quite a few loose ends for Resurrection to revisit. The New York Ripper will officially be unveiled in the upcoming season, but the studio has already officially confirmed that another serial killer will be back.

Resurrection Season 1 might have brought fans new killers, but not all of them met the bloody fate that audiences have come to expect. One particularly memorable figure managed to slip through Dexter's fingers: Al Walker. At this month's New York Comic Con, the panel announced that Eric Stonestreet's Rapunzel will return, and the actor even made a surprise appearance. Serial killers never escape Dexter's knife for longer than a season, so fans could be in for an epic showdown between them as Season 2 revisits one of Resurrection's most intriguing loose ends.

Dexter: Resurrection needs to add one more legacy character to the cast in a bid to bolster the excitement.

Michael C. Hall, Jack Alcott, Uma Thurman, Desmond Harrington, Brian Cox, Dan Stevens, Kristen Ritter, Eric Stonestreet, David Zayas, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, and James Remar.

After the revelation that Dexter was actually alive at the start of Resurrection , the serial killer with a code experienced vivid nightmares about his past enemies, including The Trinity Killer and Miguel Prado.
