CoD MW4: Gunny Loadout System, Explained

Gunny is a new feature in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 that's meant to help players get an action-ready build more quickly without having to manually fiddle around with attachments themselves. With a single button press, Gunny will assemble a gun loadout based on your preferred engagement range using whatever attachments you've unlocked. Gunny's builds aren't always the best, but if you're looking for an idea on how to build your guns in MW4, then this feature might just be what you need.

Placing a Transmitter on a Radio Tower is quite simple in MW4 DMZ, provided you know exactly what to look for. Here's what you need to do.

Once you unlock the Create A Class menu and customize any weapon, you'll find Gunny in the Gunsmith menu's bottom-right corner. Press the button next to Gunny on your screen (R2/RT/2), and you'll enter a new menu. Here, you'll only really have three options, all of which are also found in the bottom-right corner:

You can already imagine what these buttons are going to do; pick one of them, and Gunny will build your chosen gun based on engagement distance:

The Short and Long Range options are replaced by Quickscope and Precision where applicable.

You'll need to level up/unlock attachments with your chosen gun in order to unlock all three choices for Gunny . Also, as I've mentioned earlier, Gunny will only make builds out of the attachments you've already unlocked — the more stuff you unlock through the leveling process , the more things Gunny will have to work with.
