A brand-new Kingdom Come release has been quietly delayed, giving fans a few more months to wait before they're able to return to 15th-century Bohemia. After last year's release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, fans are desperate for any new content from the series, and one upcoming launch will now take place a little later than planned.

Warhorse Studios' Kingdom Come series had a seven-year gap between mainline releases. It proved to be worth the wait - not only was Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 arguably more acclaimed than its predecessor, but it was also nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2025. KCD2 was a massive commercial success for the developer, prompting the studio to quickly get to work on expanding the franchise as quickly as possible.

As first noted by a Reddit post by user vermillion137, notifications have been sent out that the upcoming book, Kingdom Come: Of Swords and Men , has been delayed until the end of 2026. The book was originally set to launch in Autumn 2026, but will now take a couple of months longer to release. " A glance at the Kingdom Come: Of Swords and Men store page also confirms the delay until the end of the year.
