Bounty & Wanted System in MW4 DMZ, Explained

Killing other players in MW4 DMZ will get you a Bounty, and continuing to do so will fast-track you to the Most Wanted status, which will prove to the lobby that you're a deadly threat that needs to be taken care of, should they have the courage to do so. While there's not much of an advantage to having a Bounty (other than looting killed players), claiming a Bounty will reward plenty of DMZ Cash, which we'll explain in full below.

Here's a full list of the Operator Traits you can use in MW4 DMZ, along with how you can earn Trait Points and use them effectively.

The Bounty System is specifically for the PvP aspects of DMZ and is a challenging mechanic designed for those who like to engage in fights with other Operators (players) rather than AI-controlled enemies. You will have a Bounty if you kill Operators across deployments, so check your Dog Tags to see your total Operator kills.

Once you get 4 Operator kills, you will become Wanted. This means nearby Operators will be alerted to your presence, but your location won't be revealed. You can continue to increase your Bounty by killing other players while Wanted to eventually reach the Most Wanted status, which is a flex for the top 50 most dangerous players globally.

If you don't want to keep a Bounty on your head, then you can find Bounty Stations during deployment to Hajin, noted by the skull icon on the map when you zoom in.
