The Blood of Dawnwalker Update 1.1 will be a complete game-changer featuring hundreds of additions and improvements, according to its official preview. The upcoming release will affect progression, combat, traversal, accessibility, and PC features, among other aspects of The Blood of Dawnwalker.
Polish developer Rebel Wolves teased a huge October update for The Blood of Dawnwalker in late September 2026. At the time, game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz mentioned a fifth difficulty mode being part of the package, but while revealing little else.
Rebel Wolves shared many more details on the 1.1 update on Friday, October 16, confirming that the upcoming release is planned for next week. Its feature card highlights several major additions before promising "over 1,100 other improvements and fixes" affecting a wide variety of The Blood of Dawnwalker systems and mechanics. No exact release day has been announced yet, but most developers do not deploy patches on weekends, which implies any day from October 19 through 23 is an equally likely candidate.
The most consequential addition in the announced lineup is Draught of Mind Rebirth, a new respec option for Swordmastery, Witchcraft, and Vampirism abilities. Using it will let players forget learned skills and reclaim the time previously spent acquiring them. Since character progression in The Blood of Dawnwalker is directly tied to the game's limited-time structure, the single change will make it considerably easier to revise an established build without sacrificing resources. Combat and traversal are also getting several targeted improvements. 1 will refine targeting, lock-on behavior, disengaging, combat camera movement, and animations.
