Black Clover enjoyed an exciting run from 2015 to 2026. Throughout this run, we were introduced to some of the most exciting shonen villains of the last decade, those being the Zogratis siblings who formed the Dark Triad. The Dark Triad were powerful foes that had to be taken down for long-lasting peace in the world.
Through Yuki Tabata’s new Black Clover release, known as Perfect Grimoire, which was officially released on August 4, 2026, we finally learned of their pseudo-immortality. Through their contracts with their powerful devils, the Zogratis siblings had stopped aging. Now that they have lost their devils, they must have become mortals again. True immortality, however, was achieved by Lucius Zogratis before his fated defeat against Asta and Yuno.
Black Clover started its run in 2015 in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #12. Back then, we would have never guessed the terrifyingly powerful antagonist that Yuki Tabata would eventually introduce in the story. As the story of Black Clover continued, we were introduced to one overpowered enemy after another. In Black Clover Chapter 227, released on November 2, 2019, in WSJ Issue #49, we were introduced to what would become one of the most overpowered and feared antagonists of the whole series: the Dark Triad, a group of powerful foes who used to rule over Yuno's birthplace, the Spade Kingdom.
The Dark Triad is made up of three Zogratis siblings: Dante Zogratis, Vanica Zogratis, and Zenon Zogratis. All three of them are powerful in their own right, and they gave us high-octane battles by taking on the heroes of the series.
