Apple TV may have just raised its prices again, but the change isn't all that surprising with what the streamer has coming in September. Continuing its commitment to high-quality Apple TV Originals, the upcoming release schedule is absolutely star-studded with talent.

Mayday is described as an action comedy film set during the height of the Cold War. It stars Ryan Reynolds as a a hot-shot U.S. Navy Pilot known as Lieutenant Troy "Assassin" Kelly who gets stranded behind enemy lines. He's discovered by ex-KGB agent Nikolai Ustinov (Kenneth Branagh), who just so happens to hold a certain reverence for American culture. The result is an unlikely buddy spy movie that looks to mix action with comedy.

The first new Apple TV series of September is a six-part adaptation of Ryan David Jahn's novel The Dispatcher. The story follows former detective Ian Ridley (Patrick Brammall), who is still pretty messed up since his daughter Maggie disappeared over a decade ago. Now Ridley is working as a police dispatcher when he receives a distress call from a teenage girl that he thinks could be his long lost daughter.
