Traits are a key mechanic in MW4 DMZ that could bring you success in your next deployment into Hajin. You unlock Traits by leveling the Dog Tags via DMZ XP, and with a total of 18 Traits, it's important to know where to invest them, since there are no do-overs. Below, we'll share the best Traits that you need to reach if you want the best chance of surviving Hajin and exfiling with the best loot and perhaps a few bodies tallied to your tags.

Here's a full list of the Operator Traits you can use in MW4 DMZ, along with how you can earn Trait Points and use them effectively.

We've separated the best Traits in DMZ into three categories. You can find the best Traits for PvP-focused players, survival-focused players, and loot-focused players below.

You can have 18 Traits, but there are only 6 Major Traits per Tree, which is what we'll focus on, as the Minor Traits are randomized.

Pick these Traits if you want to focus on hunting and fighting other players:

Enemy hostiles sometimes drop an Uncommon printer ingredient, with a very small chance for a Rare printer ingredient.

Since PvP is the focus and not looting, having a way to get valuable materials for the 3D Printer to continue acquiring Armor Vests, UAVs, and other resources is great.

Bring UAVs with you to hunt other players, as they become Advanced, which shows the exact direction of an enemy Operator.

Activate UAV Towers around Hajin for permanent surveillance on enemy Operators who dare to walk into your territory.
