Batman: Knightfall Part 2: Knightquest Release Date and Box Art Revealed

IGN can exclusively reveal that Batman: Knightfall Part 2: Knightquest will be available on digital, 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on December 15, 2026.

We can also reveal an exclusive clip and the new box art for the feature-length animated sequel from DC, Warner Bros. Animation, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

“Batman lies broken at the hands of the villainous mastermind Bane. With Bruce Wayne paralyzed from the waist down and unable to continue as Batman, a new successor must be chosen to defend Gotham City,” according to the film’s official plot synopsis. “Jean-Paul Valley, the man also known as Azrael, must take up the mantle of the Batman. But will his more violent methods be enough to stop Bane?”

The clip embedded below features a chase sequence and brutal hand-to-hand fight between Nightwing (voiced by Mike Prater) and Jean-Paul Valley/Azrael (voiced by Pablo Schreiber).

Batman: Knightfall Part 2: Knightquest also stars the voices of Anson Mount (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds) as Bruce Wayne/Batman and Michael Mando (Spider-Man: Brand New Day) as Bane.

The film – which runs 76 minutes and is rated R for strong bloody violence – is directed by Jeff Wamester and written by Jeremy Adams based on characters from DC. Batman was created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger. Rick Morales serves as Supervising Producer alongside Producers Jim Krieg and Kimberly S. Moreau. Sam Register and Michael E. Uslan are Executive Producers.
