Atlus Persona Steam Sale Tease Just Baited Fans

Earlier this week, Atlus sent Persona fans into a bit of a frenzy with a very cryptic tweet. On the official Atlus West Twitter account, a series of photos were posted from what appeared to be a Persona set, though the people in them had been shrouded in darkness and were made into silhouettes. It was very spooky, and anyone would assume that Atlus was teasing something.

Fans took it one step further and brightened the images, revealing ahead of time that Persona 3 Reload actor Aleks Le was one of these silhouetted strangers. This led to all kinds of theories, such as a possible Persona TV show reveal, a possible Persona Q3 announcement, some potential news about Persona 6, and a lot more. Turns out, it was none of those.

Instead of anything really exciting, Atlus was just teasing an admittedly generous Steam sale for the Persona series, as well as another reminder that Persona 4 Revival is launching next year. It's a pretty cool video, and any acknowledgment of Metaphor: ReFantazio is all good in my books, but the Persona fans hoping for something a bit more were all baited pretty hard.

Persona's P-Studio Producer recently had an interview that shed a promising light on the future of the series.

" No way you did that cryptic ass teaser for a sale ," reads one reply to the video from a user called Erigummii. " Did we just get a cryptic style announcement, just to tell us about a sale?
