Ubisoft releases the final major content update for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, finally adding New Game Plus alongside a bunch of new content, features, and bug fixes. It's been a highly successful run for Ubisoft and the return of its beloved 2013 title. Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced not only reached impressive sales and player milestones, but it received plenty of post-launch support as well.
For a game that is essentially a remake, Ubisoft wasn't content to just release the game again and leave it as is. The studio added more content that wasn't in the original game, including in-game quests to recruit new crew mates for the Jackdaw, but it also continued to react to feedback and add in highly requested features through post-launch updates. The quality of life updates for Black Flag Resynced ranged from simple cosmetic tweaks and new missions, to adjustments to the game's dynamic weather system, which, for a time, was leaning too heavily on rain and storms. However, this latest update may be the most impactful the game has seen yet.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced director reveals why Ubisoft had to completely rebuild things from the ground up resulting in a brand new game.
For many players, the biggest piece of this update is that Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced finally has New Game Plus . Fans have been clamoring for the feature ever since the game launched back in July, and although it has taken longer than many would have liked, players can now restart their journey after the end credits roll.
