Three indie games that achieved viral status over the last three years are making their long-awaited debut on Xbox from publisher Critical Reflex.
As revealed during today's ID@Xbox showcase for October 2026, celebrated indie titles Arctic Eggs, Mouthwashing, and No, I'm Not a Human are making their way to Xbox for the very first time.
Physics-focused game Arctic Eggs tasks players with cooking eggs in — you guessed it — the Arctic. It sounds easy enough, but the game’s physics make this chore a true test of patience. And it’s not just eggs you’ll have to cook, either; you’ll pan fry anything from cockroaches to shot glasses, sausages, stingrays, and more, with the aim of feeding the city’s hungry inhabitants and possibly earning an audience with the Saint of Six Stomachs. Arctic Eggs, from developer The Water Museum, is available today (October 20, 2026) on Xbox Series X/S.
No, I’m Not a Human is an unsettling tale that follows a homeowner in an increasingly uninhabitable world. Players must decide who to shelter and who to turn away as the days grow hotter, with mysterious beings crawling out of the ground — beings that look, and sometimes behave, like humans. Pick the real people and wait out the apocalypse together; pick impostors and risk your housemates’ lives. No, I'm Not a Human will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass in 2027.
Cult indie horror game Mouthwashing , first released in September 2024, is an exciting addition to the Xbox family.
