Apple reveals its Nest Hub rival: meet the HomeView

TL;DR Apple has introduced the Apple HomeView, a 7-inch Liquid Retina smart display powered by Apple Intelligence and conversational Siri.

Key features include multi-user facial recognition for automatic profile switching, proximity-based interface density, a specialized spatial audio speaker setup, and a dedicated wall-mounted model developed with Schneider Home.

The Apple HomeView costs $299 and is available for pre-order starting today, with retail availability on November 13.

Following months of speculation surrounding a Nest Hub rival smart home launch , Apple has officially taken the wraps off its long-rumored smart display, introducing the Apple HomeView alongside a branded line of first-party home accessories. Designed to serve as a central command station, the HomeView pairs dedicated home controls with Apple Intelligence and an updated, conversational Siri AI to anchor households directly into Apple’s software walled garden.
