Amazon's Lord of the Rings Gandalf Costume Has Dropped to Its Lowest Price of the Year

October 31 is nearly here and time is running out to buy yourself a costume. This is the week that Spirit Halloween starts to look fully picked over and popular costumes become incredibly scarce. Thankfully, If you happen to have an Amazon Prime membership, there are a number of options still available that will actually ship to you on time. And if you're a Lord of the Rings fan specifically, this official Gandalf costume is an excellent choice for the price.

At $36.33 for the XL size, it's surprisingly affordable for an officially licensed costume. It doesn't come with a fake beard or a wig, but if you already have either of those things then you're set. And if you don't, you should be able to find that still in stock somewhere before Halloween.

The costume you are buying here is specifically the robe, hat, and belt that were designed after the iconic wizard from Middle-earth. This is a version of Gandalf the Gray, as seen in The Hobbit movie, rather than the more majestic Gandalf the White we got in the later LOTR movies. Like most affordable costumes, it's made of 100% polyester, which means you probably don't want to toss it into the wash with the rest of your clothes.

The main issue with this costume, like I mentioned above, is that it isn't exactly complete. If you want to look like Gandalf and not just some random wizard, you will need a gray beard and a gray wig.
