Misplaced keys, bags, and luggage can waste a lot of time, and that’s exactly where the Apple AirTag 2 comes in. There’s also a nice deal on Amazon right now, dropping this tracker to $23.

That’s $6 off the $29 recommended retail price, which works out to a 21% discount relative to the RRP. It’s also the lowest price since launch, so this is a standout time to grab one.

The new AirTag 2 is Apple’s 2026 update to its item tracker, and it keeps the same familiar idea while improving how easy it is to find your stuff. It uses Apple’s second-generation Ultra Wideband chip for more capable Precision Finding, with location guidance from up to 50% farther away than before. Apple also says the built-in speaker is about 50% louder, which should help when the lost item is somewhere nearby but out of sight.

Other useful upgrades include longer Bluetooth range and Lost Mode support through an NFC tap. The AirTag (2nd Generation) also keeps the user-replaceable CR2032 battery and IP67 water and dust resistance. If you use an Apple Watch, Precision Finding from the watch is supported on Series 9 or later and Ultra 2 or later with the right watchOS update.

1 or later. 6-star Amazon rating, which adds some extra confidence if you’ve been waiting to pick one up.
