A Complete Guide To The Extra Life 2026 MTG Secret Lair Bundle

Not every Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair bundle is limited in availability; Wizards of the Coast often releases philanthropic bundles on a print-to-demand basis, and this year's Extra Life bundles are part of this venture.

This year's Extra Life bundle, Rise of the Polygons, includes five cards with throwback artwork featuring old-school video game polygon art reminiscent of games like Final Fantasy VII. The idea behind the cards is that we're following a "young pyromancer" who looks a lot like Chandra, as they level up to take on the Balefire Dragon. MTG Arena is also releasing digital bundles alongside this physical drop, which we'll detail below, and they also support the Extra Life charity.

The Rise of the Polygons Extra Life Secret Lair will be on sale from November 16, 2026, to November 30, 2026. You will also have the chance to grab the bundle live at MagicCon Atlanta, although it will only be available in limited quantities each day. You can also donate to Extra Life at MagicCon Atlanta to earn rewards, where a $40 donation gets you a mystery Collector Booster while a $20 donation gets you a Loot pin.

This bundle contains five cards, although one is an Elemental token. The good news is that the bundle still has strong value elsewhere, but since 50% of the proceeds from each one go to the Children's Miracle Network, potential profits should be the last thing on your mind.

Here are all the cards from the Rise of the Polygons bundle, as well as the current cheapest and most expensive versions of those cards (using TCGplayer market value).
