Snabbit matches Urban Company’s InstaHelp in NTV; burns Rs 32 Cr less in Q2 FY27

Quick home services startup Snabbit recorded a net transaction value (NTV) of Rs 72 crore in Q2 FY27, marginally ahead of Urban Company’s InstaHelp at Rs 71 crore. However, Snabbit reported a lower burn of Rs 142 crore against InstaHelp’s adjusted EBITDA loss of Rs 174 crore in the quarter, according to Snabbit co-founder Ayush Agarwal’s LinkedIn post.

The numbers show that while both platforms generated nearly the same transaction value, Urban Company’s InstaHelp incurred Rs 32 crore more in losses during the quarter. However, the burn figures may not be directly comparable unless they use the same accounting measure.

Urban Company reported Rs 20.37 crore in revenue from InstaHelp in Q2 FY27, up 82% quarter-on-quarter. The platform processed 6.2 million orders during the quarter, translating into average revenue of nearly Rs 33 per order.

According to Agarwal’s post, Snabbit processed 6.4 million orders during the quarter. This puts the two platforms at a similar scale in terms of order volumes.

Snabbit reported Rs 12.25 crore in operating revenue and a net loss of Rs 168 crore in FY26. The company said its daily jobs grew 75 times during the year as it expanded its quick home services business.

The Q2 figures highlight the intense competition in the instant home services market, where platforms are investing heavily to acquire customers and expand their operations. With both businesses recording similar NTV, their ability to improve unit economics and reduce losses will be key as they scale.
