Daksham Capital raises Rs 125 Cr in first close of Rs 300 Cr fund

Daksham Capital, a multi-family office and private wealth management group, has raised Rs 125 crore as the first close of its Daksham Growth Ventures (DGV) Fund I.

According to a statement, DGV Fund I has a target corpus of Rs 300 crore, comprising a base corpus of Rs 150 crore and a greenshoe option of another Rs 150 crore. The first close was anchored by family offices, HNI/UHNI families and entrepreneurs.

The fund will invest in startups at the pre-Series A and Series A stages, with cheque sizes ranging from Rs 5 crore to Rs 20 crore. It will focus on D2C brands, consumer enablers, B2B2C businesses, supply chains and consumer AI.

According to the statement, the fund's preferred entry range is businesses with annual recurring revenue (ARR) of Rs 25–75 crore, with a focus on companies that have the potential to scale to Rs 300–500 crore in revenue.

“Over the last decade, we have backed consumer start-ups that went on to deliver strong outcomes. What is changing now is how consumers discover, choose and buy. We believe the next decade of consumption will be shaped by brands and start-ups working alongside AI – from discovery and personalisation to fulfilment, trust and credit,” said Shivam Diwan, Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Daksham Growth Ventures.

Beyond capital, DGV will also work closely with portfolio companies on governance, financial reporting, brand positioning, leadership development and distribution expansion.

“We see considerable potential in businesses that understand their consumers, have built a strong foundation and are ready to expand their ambitions.
