Zetrix AI has submitted a proposal for the Malaysian government’s consideration to address outstanding remittances following the suspension of its Road Transport Department (JPJ) services.
The company did not disclose the proposal’s details or a timeline for resolving the matter.
The suspension took effect on 5 October 2026 and covers all JPJ services previously offered through the group’s channels, including MYEG road tax renewals and summons payments.
According to The Edge Malaysia, Transport Minister Anthony Loke disclosed that Zetrix AI owed JPJ about RM314 million in collections it had failed to remit from May to September 2026.
The group said its immediate priority is to resolve its obligations and work towards restoring the affected services, subject to the relevant approvals.
Zetrix AI, which has provided JPJ services since 2000, confirmed that transactions made through the affected services before the suspension had been processed and fulfilled.
Motorists can access services through alternative channels, including JPJ counters, the MyJPJ app and the JPJ Public Portal, depending on the transaction and vehicle category.
