Wiremind, a French developer of revenue management, inventory and distribution software for transport operators and event organisers, has closed a €35m funding round, the first external capital it has taken since launching in 2014.
Three new backers took part in the deal: IronWave, the firm previously known as Wendel Growth, Bpifrance Investissement through its Large Venture fund, and Seaya Andromeda.
Despite the injection of outside money, co-founders Colin Girault-Matz, who serves as CEO, and Charles Pierre, the company’s CTO, continue to hold a majority stake and keep control of the business.
The raise brings to a close more than a decade in which Wiremind funded its expansion entirely from its own earnings. The company has turned a profit every year since it was established, and its commercial momentum accelerated in 2025, when turnover climbed 67% and 23 clients signed up. It now counts more than 80 customers using its range of products.
Management has earmarked the capital for two main goals. The first is geographic: Wiremind plans to deepen its footprint in South America while building a stronger position among transport businesses in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, adding to the traction it has already achieved in Europe and North America.
The second goal centres on artificial intelligence. Wiremind builds its own machine learning models and optimisation algorithms, and these form the engine behind how its clients manage revenue, capacity, inventory and distribution.
The new funding will expand its research and development team and introduce large language models (LLMs) into the platform.
