Webull Canada hands trading power to AI assistants

Webull, the online investment platform and subsidiary of NASDAQ-listed Webull Corporation, has opened its brokerage accounts to AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Grok.

Canadian investors can now research markets, check their holdings and submit trades through conversation, without writing a line of code.

The link relies on Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that allows AI assistants to interact securely with external applications. Once connected, Webull Canada clients can pull real-time market data, see their balances and positions, run analysis on their portfolios and place orders, all by typing everyday language into a supported assistant.

The move responds to a shift in investor behaviour. AI has become a growing part of how people study and track markets, and appetite is rising for tools that carry those insights straight into a trading account. Webull has built the service on its global infrastructure, which serves upwards of 29 million registered users around the world.

The Canadian launch extends Webull’s worldwide AI strategy into a new market. The firm has designed the integration to simplify investing tools through dialogue while keeping control firmly with the user. An assistant may draft an order, but no trade goes through until the investor checks and approves the details on Webull itself.

Webull Canada operates as an online investment platform for Canadian investors and forms part of Webull Corporation, which trades on NASDAQ under the ticker BULL.

The company expects to finish rolling the feature out to all eligible accounts by the start of November.
