The users sent payments to 153 countries during that time. Today, more than 500 Relay customers are sending payments powered by Nium’s infrastructure, according to the release.
The collaboration with Nium allows Relay’s customers to collect, convert, send and spend funds across borders, with certainty from onboarding to the arrival of the funds at a recipient’s bank account or wallet, the release said.

Nium and Relay will continue to expand their work together to support small businesses that operate across borders, per the release.
“Certainty is what businesses need from their business banking and payments partners — from the moment a customer is onboarded to the moment funds are delivered,” Nium Chief Business Officer Anupam Pahuja said in the release. “Relay is giving its customers that certainty across 153 countries, and we are built to support it at every step.”
Relay CEO and Co-Founder Yoseph West said in the release, “We needed a technology partner that could move as fast as we do, with modern APIs and a team that works as closely with us as we work with our customers.
