Ramp built Glass following a week in May in which the spend management firm burned through $1.5 million in AI tokens, per the post.
“Giving every employee AI—the best models, the most tokens—is not the same as becoming an AI-native company,” the post said. “It’s like giving every employee a Steinway and expecting a symphony. What you actually get is a lot of expensive noise.”
Glass is designed to turn company-specific information into tools that can be used across the organization, according to the post. So far, 323 Ramp employees have made more than 6,500 edits to what the platform knows.
New feature requests, for example, used to be manually copied into Salesforce at a rate of 300 a month. In May, an account manager saved a prompt to Glass that pulls those requests from customer calls, letting Ramp capture 20,000 a month, per the post.

Each product comes with a meter, which means users can see the cost of work as it happens rather than when an invoice comes, according to the post.
“And every request runs through Ramp Router , which picks the right model for the job,” the post said.
