Pine Labs Launches Unified Merchant Payments Platform in Singapore

Pine Labs has launched a unified platform for merchants in Singapore, combining payment acceptance, acquiring, instalment payments and customer engagement capabilities.

Businesses can use the platform to accept cards and alternative payment methods through a single technology layer.

Pine Labs also works with bank and brand partners to offer instalment payment plans at the point of sale, giving consumers greater flexibility for higher-value purchases.

The offering also incorporates Fave, Pine Labs’ consumer payments and engagement app.

Merchants can use Fave to run cashback programmes and merchant-funded offers aimed at attracting customers and encouraging repeat purchases.

“Singapore’s merchants are increasingly looking to simplify payments infrastructure while offering consumers more flexibility at checkout,”

“By bringing together acquiring, payment acceptance, instalment payments and consumer engagement capabilities on a single platform, we are helping merchants reduce complexity and unlock new avenues for growth.”

Pine Labs currently serves Singapore brands including Courts, iStudio, CapitaLand and FairPrice.

Its platform supports major global payment networks such as American Express, Mastercard and Visa, as well as payment services including GrabPay, Alipay+ and WeChat Pay.

The Singapore rollout forms part of Pine Labs’ broader regional and international expansion.

It follows the recent launch of its payment capabilities in the Philippines through a partnership with e-wallet provider GCash.
