Moomoo Heads North with First Physical Store in Penang

Moomoo Malaysia has opened its fourth physical store in the country at Queensbay Mall in Penang.

The outlet is the brokerage’s first in Northern Malaysia. It gives local investors a place to explore Moomoo’s investing tools, learn about financial markets and receive in-person guidance.

The store sits on the ground floor of the mall (Lot 132-135) and opened on 23 October. It takes Moomoo’s physical footprint beyond the Klang Valley, where the company launched its first experience store.

Moomoo previewed the Penang location at MooFest 2026 earlier this month, when it said its app had passed three million downloads in Malaysia.

The company said it had met Penang investors at local events and heard their feedback directly. It described the new store as a way to make investor education and platform support easier to reach for communities in the north.

“Penang has a growing community of people interested in investing, and we want to make it easier for them to access the tools and support they need,”

Squash champion Datuk Nicol David, Moomoo Malaysia’s brand ambassador and a Penang native, joined Jee and Erika Chiang, Chief Marketing and Growth Officer of Moomoo SEA, at the opening ceremony.

“Investing, like squash, isn’t about getting everything right from day one. It is about showing up, putting in the work and trusting that the fundamentals will carry you,”

The opening builds on Moomoo Malaysia’s partnership with the Nicol David Organisation (NDO). As part of the partnership, the company pledged RM100,000 to support NDO’s Smart Mooves programme.
