The partnership represents a significant step in INTX’s investment in Bermuda and will provide insurers and reinsurers on the island with local implementation, data migration, integration and technology expertise around the INTX (Re)Insurance Operating System.
Bermuda continues to play a central role in the global reinsurance market. The Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers recently reported that its member companies wrote a record $197.5 billion in gross premiums in 2025, underscoring the scale and continued growth of the market.
For INTX, the expansion brings its reinsurance-first technology closer to a market managing some of the world’s most complex risk and capital structures.
INTX provides dedicated technology for both sides of the reinsurance transaction through INTX ReinsureConnect RI, its ceded reinsurance platform, and INTX Re, its assumed reinsurance platform. Together with INTX Core, the company’s P&C insurance operating platform, INTX enables organizations to connect underwriting, policy administration, reinsurance, claims, financial operations and reporting within a modern operating environment.
“Bermuda is central to the global reinsurance market, and it is a strategic market for INTX,” said Rob Lewis, CEO of INTX Insurance Software. “If we are going to build the operating system for modern insurance and reinsurance, we need to be close to the organizations managing the industry’s most sophisticated risks.
