FIS Launches Agentic AI Tool for CFOs to Spot Cash Flow Risks Earlier

FIS has launched an agentic AI suite to help finance teams forecast cash flow, identify risks and manage liquidity.

The FIS Agentic Insights Suite combines financial data from multiple systems to support collections, credit and treasury operations.

Its new forecasting module uses machine learning and simulations to project cash positions across different time periods and assess how delayed payments or increased outflows could affect liquidity.

The suite draws on internal financial systems, external credit bureau information and public data to assess credit risk, business health and ESG factors in real time.

It also reconciles data across systems, provides real-time account scoring and recommends actions to help teams prioritise risks.

Users can access financial analysis through natural language queries and Power BI dashboards.

The platform connects with FIS’s receivables products, GETPAID and BillerIQ, and treasury systems, Integrity and Quantum, to support existing workflows.

FIS expects deployment to take weeks rather than months, with self-service setup available.

“Most finance teams can tell you what happened to their cash last quarter; very few can tell you what happens next month with confidence. FIS Agentic Insights Suite changes that: it does the work of pulling together credit, treasury and market signals and showing a CFO where the risk sits before it reaches the books.”

The suite is also designed to improve collections efficiency and help businesses manage days sales outstanding (DSO), which measures how long companies take to collect payments.

Future updates are planned to introduce payment anomaly detection and dispute forecasting.
