Wealth Pilot was first introduced in January 2025 as a client onboarding and servicing portal built on Microsoft‘s Power Platform. The latest iteration consolidates fact finds, risk profiles, financial plans, cashflow data and client documents into one unified record, with compliance and AI tooling operating directly on that record rather than on exported copies.
Two features sit at the centre of the upgrade. The first, Case Checks, applies a rule-based compliance review to every advice file before sign-off, rather than sampling a subset. Files receive Green, Amber or Red ratings, each accompanied by the underlying evidence and a list of required remediation steps. Where the system cannot confirm a finding, it defaults to Amber for manual review. Reports are produced in Word and Excel format and include references to the relevant FCA Handbook provisions.
The second addition, Adviser Intelligence, is an AI assistant that answers case-level queries using the firm’s own records and the adviser’s role permissions. It surfaces direct links to the FCA Handbook, flags data inconsistencies in real time and drafts suitability reports in the firm’s own template. Crucially, all AI-generated content requires adviser approval before it reaches the client record or any client-facing output.
Leanne Williams , managing director of Financial Solutions, framed the design philosophy around auditability. “An AI tool that cannot show its working is not much use to a compliance officer,” she said.
