Farsight, a provider of AI technology tailored to financial institutions, has deployed its platform within Deutsche Bank, where it is now operating on-premise across the lender’s Investment Banking and Capital Markets teams in Europe and North America.
The deployment enables bankers to use AI with the bank’s internal data and workflows while keeping information within Deutsche Bank’s technology environment. Proprietary knowledge, sensitive client information and records of user interactions remain under the bank’s control.
The platform can draw on historical work, internal data and institutional standards to tailor workflows to individual teams. Bankers can create and refine materials through an automated chat interface that adapts to context and feedback during use.
The rollout reflects a broader shift among financial institutions towards AI tools designed for specific business processes, moving beyond isolated pilots and general-purpose assistants. For regulated organisations, deploying these tools requires access to sensitive information while maintaining control over how that data is handled.
Farsight’s platform is designed around each institution’s data, precedents, templates and working practices. It can operate partly or entirely within a client’s own infrastructure, allowing employees to apply AI to confidential tasks while retaining control of internal knowledge and processes.
The technology is accessible through a web interface and applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and email. It supports the production of materials such as pitch decks, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), internal memos and financial models for client use. Farsight works with organisations across investment banking, private equity and corporate development.
The Deutsche Bank deployment adds to Farsight’s presence in the financial services sector, where it already supports teams at several major institutions.
