Aspire is moving beyond business payments with a new AI-powered accounting platform that automates bookkeeping and reconciliation.
The AspireBooks service uses AI to classify transactions, recommend accounting categories and tax treatments, and match payments with invoices and bills.
Users can then review and approve the entries, while financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets and trial balances are updated as transactions are recorded.
The platform also supports multicurrency accounting, with plans to introduce a feature allowing businesses to manage accounts for multiple entities.
Through Aspire’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration, users can ask questions about their financial statements in plain language and receive recommendations based on their financial data.
“In all my years as a founder, I’ve seen how much time businesses spend trying to close their books. It’s a recurring headache, largely because corporate banking and accounting have always operated as two separate worlds.
With AspireBooks, we’re bringing these two worlds together so accounting happens as a natural part of running a business, rather than becoming a separate exercise at the end of every month.”
The service was developed with Singapore Accountants, which provided accounting expertise, helped ensure alignment with Singapore accounting standards and supported customer testing.
AspireBooks is available to businesses in Singapore for S$39 per month, with a three-month free introductory period.
