Meta released Muse Spark Open, an 816 billion-parameter model it calls the most capable U.S. open-weight model to date, and said it worked with Apple to tune the model for two Mac Studio desktops. Meta said the change would cost it about $10 billion in 2022, CNBC reported at the time.
