Alpha Wave Ventures Exits Aye Finance Via ₹323 Cr Bulk Deals

Global investment firm Alpha Wave has offloaded nearly 1.92 Cr shares or 7.78% stake in MSME-focused NBFC Aye Finance via bulk deals today, as per BSE data. 

Alpha Wave India I sold two separate tranches of 95.94 Lakh shares each at weighted average prices of ₹168.19 and ₹168.02 apiece respectively. The investor raked in a total about ₹322.6 Cr via the stake sale. 

The same entity had a 7.78% stake in Aye Finance, amounting to 1,91,88,604 shares, as of June 30, 2026. Hence, after today’s stake sale, the investor has exited Aye Finance. 

This adds on to the string of partial or complete exits that Alpha Wave is on of late. As per reports earlier today, the firm is looking to sell over 2 Cr shares of other portfolio company Lenskart for around ₹1,313 Cr. 

This would be the second instance of Alpha Wave offloading stake in Lenskart since the expiry of its lock-in period, selling 3.72 Cr shares in the company back in May.

It also recently exited logistics major Delhivery with the sale of 72.2 Lakh shares, raking in  about ₹665 Cr. 

Meanwhile, the shares offloaded by the investment firm were lapped up by Integrated Core Strategies (Asia), an associate of Millennium Management, Singularity AMC’s Singularity Large Value Fund III, among other buyers. 

Additionally, boutique advisory firm F3 Advisors also sold 74,505 shares at ₹173.88 per share, while buying 14.6 Lakh shares at a lower price, i.e. ₹169.23 per share.
