AIMCONNECT 2026 Forum to Explore How AI Is Changing Car Sales, Financing

AIMCONNECT 2026, an executive forum on AI in automotive finance, has announced its agenda ahead of the event on 11 October.

The inaugural event is organised by X Star Technology and presented together with AI Motion, which provides AI tools for the automotive sector.

As AI becomes increasingly embedded across the automotive sector, the conversation is moving beyond what the technology can do to how it could change the relationships between consumers, businesses, capital, and technology.

Rather than examining these developments in isolation, conversations will explore where their implications intersect. The event will feature keynote sessions, three panel discussions, fireside chats and an innovation showcase.

Shawn Yang, CEO of X Star Technology, will open the day with “The Next Mobility Economy: Intelligence, Connection, Trust.”

The keynote will examine AI’s role in the automotive customer journey, connections between dealers, financiers and other mobility partners, and customer trust.

“AI is already changing individual parts of automotive commerce. The bigger opportunity is to connect these capabilities across the ecosystem. With AIMCONNECT 2026, we are bringing together key players not only from the automotive industry, but also from technology, finance and manufacturing, to join the same conversation. By exploring how AI can move beyond isolated use cases, we hope to create more connected outcomes for businesses and consumers.”

The programme then turns to three panel discussions, each taking a different angle on how AI is changing mobility.

The Future of Owning a Car will explore how does AI and technology affect consumer behaviour in the decision of access or owning a vehicle, and what enterprise agentic AI initiatives that companies are adopting in operations.
