Lingong Machinery Group, a Chinese manufacturer of construction machinery, showcased electric mining equipment and related products at its inaugural Global Mining Customer Service Festival in Ordos, Inner Mongolia. Some 500 representatives from mining companies and industry organizations attended.
At an operating mine, participants saw LGMG electric mining trucks, intelligent fleet dispatch systems, solar power generation, energy storage and DC fast charging infrastructure operating together under actual mining conditions.
LGMG’s electric mining truck features a 3C fast-charging architecture and a dedicated thermal management system designed to operate at temperatures ranging from -30 to 50 degrees C. The companion charging system boasts a peak charging power of approximately 3.6 megawatts, and LGMN says it can deliver nearly 800 kWh in 18 minutes under extreme operating conditions.
The company’s offerings also include integrated solar, battery energy storage, and a centralized energy management platform that coordinates power distribution, charging operations and fleet dispatching.
For remote mines with limited grid capacity, combining on-site renewable energy generation, energy storage and high-capacity charging can reduce reliance on diesel-generated electricity.
