2027 Toyota RAV4 Raises Prices and Ride Height, PHEV Model Adds NACS

The 2027 RAV4 Woodland gets a new suspension system that gives it an additional inch of ground clearance.

The 2027 Toyota RAV4 arrives with a collection of small tweaks that should add up to real improvements. Unfortunately, though not surprisingly, the new model year also comes with a slight price bump.

The 2027 RAV4 starts at $33,895 in front-drive LE trim, $36,695 for the front-drive SE, and $38,095 for the front-drive XLE Premium. Adding all-wheel drive to any of those trims incurs an additional $1600 cost. The AWD-only Woodland trim is up to $42,250, while the XSE is up to $43,495, and the Limited is up to $45,495. Pricing for the plug-in versions starts at $43,695 for the entry SE, $47,650 for the Woodland, $49,395 for the XSE, and $50,695 for the GR Sport.

Every RAV4 thankfully now comes with a backup camera washer, and every AWD RAV4 gets Toyota’s Multi-Terrain Select modes. Plus, the Remote Connect trial is increasing from one year to five years, no matter the trim.

The bigger changes come when you zoom in. Woodland versions get redesigned all-weather floor and cargo mats. They also come with new suspension components, including springs, shocks, and jounce bumpers, that give them an additional inch of ground clearance. The granola-munching RAV4 now has 9.1 inches of clearance, compared with 8.1 inches for the rest of the lineup (aside from the GR Sport).
