The investor behind creator-commerce platform ShopMy has raised fresh capital as AI and creator-led shopping reshape the retail landscape.
PARIS — Inspired Capital, the venture firm behind creator-commerce platform ShopMy, has closed on a $450 million fourth fund as it looks to back early-stage companies reshaping how consumers discover, buy and engage with products.
The New York-based firm, founded in 2019 by Alexa von Tobel and Penny Pritzker, said the latest round brings its total committed capital to more than $1.3 billion. Alongside the fund, Inspired is launching a revenue-focused platform designed to help portfolio companies scale their businesses.
While Inspired invests across sectors including health care, fintech, robotics and artificial intelligence, its portfolio includes a growing set of companies in fashion, retail and influence marketing.
ShopMy was Inspired’s big bet on fashion and the growing commercial clout of creator-led commerce.
The platform connects fashion and beauty brands with creators who monetize product recommendations through affiliate links, curated storefronts and brand partnerships, giving companies a way to turn influence into sales. It also provides the infrastructure needed for brands and content creators to collaborate.
Inspired led ShopMy’s series A funding round in November 2022, when the company raised $8 million. It also participated in the firm’s $18.5 million round in March 2024 and its $77.5 million series B round in January 2025.
5 billion, at a time when it was reporting more than $1 billion in annual sales through creator referrals and 200 percent revenue growth year-over-year.
