OVS targets 7 stores by 2027, eyes 25-40 outlets in 5-7 years; India to be largest subsidiary outside Italy

Italian fashion retailer OVS is aiming to open seven new stores in India by 2027. The company plans to expand to 25-40 outlets in the next five to seven years. Following its latest store opening in Mumbai's R City Mall, OVS focuses on metropolitan and tier-I markets. They intend to develop an Indian e-commerce website by Spring/Summer 2027.

Italian fashion retailer OVS is targeting seven stores in India by the end of 2027, with a longer-term plan to expand to 25-40 outlets over the next five to seven years, as it positions India to become its largest subsidiary outside Italy . The brand on Friday opened its largest Indian store at Mumbai’s R City Mall, Ghatkopar, spanning approximately 12,400 sq ft. The flagship-style store brings together womenswear, menswear and kidswear, alongside collections from PIOMBO, Les Copains, B.Angel and OVS Kids. It also introduces MYA, the brand’s curve collection, to its Indian portfolio. OVS entered India in 2025 with its first store at Pacific Mall, New Delhi, followed by its Mumbai debut at Sky City Mall, Borivali, in March 2026. With the R City Mall opening marking its third store, the retailer plans to add four more outlets by the end of 2027. Advt
