The reworked model will be released in staple Triple Black and Triple White styles.
It’s been several months since we got our first glimpse of Nike’s square-toed Air Force 1 remix at men’s Paris Fashion Week and now, the revamped classic is finally arriving at retailers.
The women’s-exclusive Nike Air Force 1 Low SQT Square Toe will be released in the Air Force 1’s classic Triple Black and Triple White colorways in November. As its name suggests, the key component of these new Air Force 1s is its reconstructed toe shape which has been given boxy, squared-off edges in place of its typical round angles.
In an early October preview on the brand’s Snkrs app, Nike said the Air Force 1 Low SQT Square Toe is “sleeker, squarer and designed to force a double take on a street classic” by giving it a sharp, geometric edge. The result is a dressier, unexpected take on the classic retro basketball sneaker fans have come to know and love.
In addition to the staple Triple Black and Triple White makeups, Nike has also previewed the square-toe Air Force 1 in a variety of color schemes including a suede version with western-inspired details and hardware, textile iterations featuring mismatched colorful plaid print and more.
These square toe remixes aren’t the only notable new versions of the Air Force 1 on the horizon. Soon, streetwear brand Supreme will give the model a camouflage-covered collaboration and there’s also more fur-covered spins on the horizon.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low SQT Square Toe is set to be released exclusively in women’s sizing on Nov.
