Kim Kardashian Pulls Rare Louboutin Platforms From the Archive for Birthday Week Outing in Rome

After celebrating her 46th birthday in the popular Paris Texas Lidia Mules, Kim Kardashian climbed into massive Christian Louboutin platforms as she headed to a Bulgari store on Friday in Rome.

The “All’s Fair” actress pulled out a pair of Christian Louboutin‘s Exagona Criss Cross Heels in white leather. The Christian Louboutin Exagona was a shoe collection that debuted in 2012. The now-rare footwear silhouette featuring a dramatic peep-toe design, towering platforms and the French shoe designer’s crisscross straps.

The shoes sit on a massive 160mm stiletto heel, which is about 6.3 inches, offset by a substantial 60mm, or 2-inch, front platform. The peep-toe shoes are designed with a cupped ankle and double-crossing straps with side snap fastenings.

They are finished with Christian Louboutin’s iconic red lacquered soles. The Exagona were produced in various finishes, including smooth nude or black leather, gold and silver glitter, and limited-edition crystal-encrusted Strass editions. The style is a discontinued, limited-edition line and can now be primarily found on luxury resale and collector markets like eBay or The RealReal.

Kardashian was spotted getting out of her car, and the shoes peeked through the bottom of her long dress. She paired the towering heels with a white halter-neck maxi dress with a deep plunging V-neckline and front draping details around the hips.

The Skims founder was a dedicated fan of Louboutin shoes at the start of her career, when she first appeared on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” and was often spotted in the brand’s platform peep-toe pumps.
