Described as a "cocoon" by Charles Rosier, cofounder and chief executive officer of the luxury skin care brand, the new space will feature three focus rooms, one with a hyperbaric chamber.
Amid the hustle and bustle of city life, it pays to slow down at times.
Starting end of November, Upper East Siders can seek sanctuary at a new spa presented by prestige skin care brand Augustinus Bader. Located inside The Mark, the space will offer a menu of holistic treatments, connecting the mind and body through state of the art facials, red light therapy, medical-grade compression boots and more.
“It’s not a performance place; it’s a cocoon within the Upper East Side,” says Charles Rosier, cofounder and chief executive officer of Augustinus Bader. “We wanted to create not just a normal spa but an experience.”
This will translate in the interior design, too. Bound by natural materials and neutral tones, the spa comprises three cabins, or rather three retreats: one for the face, one for the body and one with a hyperbaric chamber for post-treatment and post-procedure healing.
“Every detail has been carefully considered to create an atmosphere of style, comfort and discretion — an experience that feels distinctly The Mark,” says Elon Kenchington, managing director of The Mark.
