Amazon commits 30,000 jobs to young people in the UK by 2030—no experience required

Amazon has launched The Amazon Youth Promise, committing 30,000 jobs to young people in the UK by 2030.

All roles start at more than £31,000 a year pro rata, with access to private medical insurance and a pension.

Amazon will also treble the number of work experience places it offers.

Amazon has launched The Amazon Youth Promise in the UK, one of the company's most comprehensive packages of support ever to help young people find work.

Amazon is committing 30,000 entry-level roles to young people from areas with the least opportunities from this year through 2030. The Youth Promise backs this with support designed to help young people before, during, and after the application process. This includes more than 10,000 work experience places, expanded programs to help young people who face the biggest barriers to work, new recruitment events tailored for young job seekers, and new guidance and support for every young person who applies.

Amazon commits $1 billion to Career Choice employee education program as part of Future Ready 2030 fund

The Future Ready 2030 fund supports students, employees, and those looking to expand their skills as the workforce adapts to a changing economy.

There are around a million young people in the UK who are not in education, employment, or training, the highest rate in a decade. Many want to work but don't know where to start. The Youth Promise is designed to reach them, with jobs that don’t require a CV or prior work experience.

All roles start at more than £31,000 ($42,000) a year pro rata, with access to private medical insurance and a pension from day one.
