50 Cent Takes a Break From G-Unit Sneakers With Dolce & Gabbana Pair for ‘Street Fighter’ Promo

50 Cent is making the rounds to promote the upcoming “Street Fighter” movie. The rapper showed off his style during an exclusive WWE Front Row with the rest of the cast at SiriusXM Studios on Monday in Los Angeles, and he swapped his own Reebok sneakers for a Dolce & Gabbana pair.

The actor wore the Dolce & Gabbana Portofino / Portofino Light Strobel sneakers. The shoes feature a black-and-white colorway and are characterized by the Majolica tile print. Majolica print mimics traditional hand-painted Mediterranean ceramic and tile art, featuring bold symmetrical scrolls, florals and geometric patterns in varying shades.

The design is featured on the vamp, on the tongue and along the sides of the shoe. The sneakers are crafted with a front lace-up fastening, branded heel counter and a white rubber outsole, and are priced around $795.

The “Many Men” rapper dressed up the patterned sneakers in a matching gray jacket and straight-leg trouser set paired with a crisp white T-shirt, which was accessorized with a hefty chain with a cross pendant. He repped his native New York with a Yankees fitted cap in all black. The Grammy winner has kept his Reebok G-Unit G6 sneakers on rotation as of late, including during a recent appearance on “The Crew Has It” podcast, where he wore a custom pair. The shoes were originally designed in collaboration with 50 Cent in 2003, and they made a return this year after 23 years on Aug. 20 and sold out within minutes of their release.
