Livestream: Watch Labrinth create a song from scratch tonight using Apple’s new MacBook Pro

To promote the new MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display, Apple is hosting a livestream in which singer-songwriter Labrinth will create a song from scratch overnight at the company’s Tower Theatre store in Downtown Los Angeles. Watch the livestream below.

Last week, Apple announced the new MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display at a special event in Los Angeles, where it invited members of the press and content creators to get an early look at the redesigned laptop.

Now, Apple is continuing its Los Angeles-centered promotional campaign with another event, this time involving singer-songwriter Labrinth.

Starting at 8 p.m. PT / 11 p.m. ET tonight, Labrinth will spend the night at Apple’s Tower Theatre store in Downtown LA, creating an entire song from scratch using the new MacBook Pro and Logic Pro.

The entire process will be livestreamed on his YouTube channel, allowing viewers to follow along in real time and ask questions as he works. Apple says the finished song will be released next week.

Tonight’s livestream comes ahead of the new MacBook Pro’s launch this Friday, November 6.

During last week’s demos, Apple showcased the laptop’s music production capabilities, including the ability to play virtual instruments directly on its touchscreen using Logic Pro.

Tune in below starting at 8 p.m. PT / 11 p.m. ET to watch Labrinth create his new song live from Apple’s Tower Theatre store.
