Apple’s funny new Apple Card ad features an awkward therapy session

Apple shared a new Apple Card ad on its YouTube page today featuring a therapist who realizes she really needs a vacation. Watch it below.

In a new ad shared today, Apple showcases how easy it is to apply for an Apple Card and start using it right away.

The ad shows a therapist who gets distracted mid-session by a notification about a flash sale on flights to Jamaica on her iPhone, but realizes her wallet is too far away to act on it.

As her patient continues talking about his problems, she quickly applies for an Apple Card through the Wallet app and uses it to book the flight, all without him noticing, but just barely.

Apple Card is is [sic] built into iPhone, and you can apply in as little as a minute. No waiting for a physical credit card, no friction. All it takes is a few taps of your iPhone. You can earn unlimited daily cash back, and use it right away.

Apple’s latest Apple Card ad comes as the company kicks off its holiday shopping season today, with festive decorations arriving at its physical and online stores, along with an extended return policy for holiday purchases.

Apple today also launched its new OLED iPad mini, M6-powered iMac and MacBook Pro, along with the redesigned MacBook Pro featuring an OLED touchscreen, and is just days away from releasing the long-awaited Apple HomeView smart display.
