Apple’s YouTube channel shared two new videos today from its “True Apple Watch Story” series, highlighting how the device helped save one woman’s life and transform another person’s fitness journey. Watch them below.
While Apple has long promoted the Apple Watch as a health and fitness device, the company has been increasingly turning to real-life stories to illustrate how its features can make a difference in people’s lives.
What started as rather light-hearted “Dear Apple” event segments featuring people thanking Tim Cook and the company for the Apple Watch has evolved into dedicated campaigns highlighting real-life experiences, including a recent campaign in China focused on the device’s health and safety features.
Today, Apple published two new videos. The first features Josh, a user who weighed about 340 pounds before turning to the Apple Watch’s Activity Rings to help improve his fitness.
The second features Morgan, who credits the device’s high heart rate notifications with helping save her life after doctors diagnosed her with a kidney infection that had progressed to septic shock.
Today’s videos join other True Apple Watch Story videos, including Connor’s Heart Health Emergency and Amanda’s Rare Cancer Diagnosis, and you can watch them all on Apple’s YouTube channel.
