Chinese robotics giant PUDU Robotics showcased all six of its robot product lines together for the first time at its European Partner Summit, including the D7 semi-humanoid robot with an eight-hour runtime, the Nvidia-powered D5 robot dog, and the cat-inspired BellaBot Pro service robot.
The summit took place at the Van der Valk Amsterdam-Amstel in the Netherlands, on Wednesday, November 4. During the event, the Shenzhen-based firm unveiled its new “One Brain, Multiple Embodiments” strategy.
Felix Zhang, PUDU Robotics’ founder and CEO, said the strategy will use the same artificial intelligence (AI) technology across all of its products. He said that robots must become smarter, easier to deploy, and cheaper to achieve wider adoption.
“With our ‘One Brain, Multiple Embodiments’ strategy, we are building a shared technological foundation across different robot forms – from specialized service robots to semi-humanoid and humanoid robots,” Zhang said.
The PUDU D7, a semi-humanoid robot that relies on wheels to move and human-like arms to handle objects, was a crowd favorite at the event. First introduced in September 2024, the robot is 5.4 feet (1.65 meters) tall and weighs about 99 lbs (45 kilograms). It can operate continuously for more than eight hours on a battery exceeding one kilowatt-hour (kWh).
At the same time, it features 30 degrees of freedom, which can raise to 50 with a dexterous hand attachment. Its robotic arms can lift up to 22 lbs, while its wheels allow it to move in any direction. It can transport objects, sort items, and even use elevators in workplaces such as offices, warehouses, and factories.
