110 humanoid robots dance in perfect sync to set Guinness World Record in China

China has set a Guinness World Records title after 110 humanoid robots performed synchronized dance routines. The robots, developed by Chinese robotics company AGIBOT, demonstrated coordinated movements in a large-scale public performance.

The event highlights China’s efforts to advance humanoid robotics and expand the commercial deployment of robots across different industries.

In August, AGIBOT won 46 medals, including 18 gold, at the second World Humanoid Robot Games, competing in athletics, manipulation, hotel services, and emergency response.

A group of 110 humanoid robots developed by AGIBOT has set a Guinness World Records title after performing synchronized dance routines in Jinan, Shandong Province.

According to reports, the performance took place on October 24 at the Yellow River International Convention and Exhibition Center. The robots, identified as full-size Expedition A3 models, danced in formation, jumped, and carried out coordinated movements while repeatedly changing positions.

During the demonstration, the robots created wave-like patterns and arranged themselves into different formations, including the number 2026. Their movements were coordinated to maintain synchronization as the group transitioned between dance sequences.

A Guinness World Records adjudicator attended the event to verify the number of participating robots and present an official certificate recognizing the achievement. The record was for the most humanoid robots dancing simultaneously.

According to AGIBOT, all 110 robots were standard production models rather than machines specially modified for the event. This detail highlights the company’s use of commercially produced humanoid robots in a large-scale coordinated performance.

The demonstration showcases the ability to coordinate a large number of humanoid robots during a complex group activity.
